Located on the shores of the River Clyde on the west coast of Scotland, the Cowal Peninsula is part of the beautiful county of Argyll. The area can be reached by the passenger only Cal-Mac ferry or Western Ferries from Gourock or by road from Loch Lomond. |
A warm welcome from the Cowal Fiddle Workshop
Set up over 25 years ago to promote the playing of Scottish traditional music, the Dunoon-based workshop provides opportunities to play the fiddle or learn to play the fiddle to people of all ages and abilities. The workshop also welcomes musicians who play other instruments particularly for their annual fund-raising concerts and charity concerts.  |
Young Fiddlers The workshop has a vibrant junior section. Newcomers from the age of 7 are welcome whether novices or advanced players. Small fiddles and bows can be hired from the workshop. See 'Workshop Info' for more details. |
